I promised a while back to write my thoughts on my first presenting experience. I haven’t got them crystal clear in my head to write them down yet (they’re coming soon, don’t worry), so in the interim it seemed a good idea to share some links to the material presented here on my blog.
- British Council ESOL workshop [Tuesday 15 June 2010] – myself, Phil Bird (@pysproblem), Amanda Wilson (@Amandalanguage) and Callie Wilkinson (@CallieWallie1) presenting about some of the BC resources we’ve been using to teach ESOL recently
- NATECLA National Conference 2010 [9-11 July 2010] – where we presented the BC resources again (albeit in a slightly remixed version, since Phil was off doing clever things with digital video recorders in another room). Our content was virtually the same as the BC workshop linked above, but please do check out the NATECLA link as the keynote, sessions and, in particular, closing plenary by Keith Best were really quite interesting.
Finally (for now), the weekend of the conference in Guildford was notable for the welcome consumption of a Callie-baked birthday cake. Yum!
